Transportorganisation und -durchführung

Belieferung Visits

Incoterm: CIF arrival port

Documents Required:

• All items must say country of manufacture on the individual item and on each box it is shipped in.
• All packages must have the following printed on each box:
  • PO number
  • supplier name
  • country of manufacture
  • quantity per box
  • SAP item #
• Please make sure that each and every container that comes to the US has a packing slip attached to the last unit.
• Please provide pictures of each and every load with the packing slip attached, and container # for each shipment (see examples below). Please send these pictures to our transport company Quehenberger or Berger.
• All shipments must be sent with the following documents, with PO number, item number, country of origin etc. – All documents must be in English (US Customs Requirement):
  • Original packing list plus 2 copies
  • Original signed commercial invoice plus 2 copies
  • Bill of lading
  • All shipments MUST be shipped on an “Express Bill of Lading”

Comments:

Textiles: All textiles must include a label, which includes the country of origin (the country where the textile was made), the material type, and an RN number (or manufacturer’s name and address OR RBNA’s name and address).

Pallets/Wood packing material: All wood packing material (including pallets) must conform to ISPM 15. The rule requires WPM (wood packing material), such as pallets, crates, boxes, and dunnage used to support or brace cargo, to be treated and marked. The approved treatments for wood packaging material are 1) heat treatment to a minimum wood core temperature of 56ºC for a minimum of 30 minutes or 2) fumigation with methyl bromide. To certify treatment, the WPM must be marked with the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) logo. Paper certificates of treatment are no longer required or accepted.

Shipping Advice

Shipping Advice:

• Transport company sends the shipping advice and documents (packing list, invoice and bill of lading) to Michael Johnson (RB USA), the OHL Account Manager (see “Notify Party”) and Kuehne & Nagel (in order to be informed about the exact delivery date)
